In order to nurture a relationship with yourself and others, you first need to identify what you are feeling. Emotions are data! You need to learn how to read the data in order to make the most sense of what to do with it. Doing this will promote inner stability and will make you feel more in control.

Learn how to express your emotions 

It is one thing to be able to identify an emotion, and it is a whole different level to be able to vulnerably and effectively share your emotions with someone else. We’re used to hiding our emotions behind defense strategies, which means they really are never known by others. This is a process of becoming Known.

Pillar 3

Deepen your relationship with your emotions

At this point, you know how to identify what you feel, and you know how to effectively share it with people you love, and now, you are ready to explore the relationship you have to tricky emotions. For instance, what’s your relationship with sadness, anger, or hopelessness? Going deeper into these complex emotions will further illuminate new inner experiences and help enrich your relationship with your loved ones.
